Big boy is too old to trick or treat.... left at home. Boo Hoo
The younger designed his own costume... the rare and ominous "Dark Stig"
(you have to be a Top Gear BBC fan to get that reference).
Mommy was a cowgirl.
(It's the best picture I got but you can't even see my boots or hat LOL)
The weather had been MISERABLE all day, but cleared up to a perfect evening for trick or treating. The Stig and I went up to the awesome subdivision up the street with the cousins and school friends. A mob of 11 little ghouls tromped house to house together. It was brutally busy, hundreds of kids swarmed the streets up there!
The new house got only got 2 princesses to get our candy this year, so I HAD treats left over.
Then the dog must have decided to get back at me for leaving the house without him the next day. I came home from the bank to an empty bucket. Just a couple sour candies left. Honestly it hadn't occurred to me that the dog would be interested in plastic-wrapped sugar! I didn't connect the mystery of the empty bucket to Max for quite a while because he wasn't even acting sheepish. After searching the house for the "missing" treats, I figured out what must have happened. I went online and apparently I had to induce vomiting. So I searched how to do that and got Max to puke with some Hydrogen Peroxide. Sure enough, lots of wrappers came out. Hopefully what is left will pass without any permanent damage. I'm not terribly worried after seeing some of the things he's pooped over the years. I guess he can't be trusted as much as I thought. Who would have thought he'd be interested in taffy, milk duds and maltesers?
DOGS!
