I am typing this to the sound of an air nailer putting down maple flooring. Yes, this brings me joy with each abrassive "CRACK!" because that sound means another board is in place.
The last minute line up change in installers turned out to be a great idea. This mature and experienced fellow is so much better.... not as much fun to talk to, but much more effective at installing hardwood and thats what is important.
It is slow going... I am glad we agreed on a price ahead of time. So far 1/2 of one room in 8 hours. He says it's always slow to get started in a new house. At least it's normal.
